Projeto Miracatu possibilita a aproximação entre indígenas Wajãpi e agricultores assentados vizinhos e aos poucos vem quebrando barreiras culturais. Os principais instrumentos utilizados para isso são a educação bilíngue, que tem como objetivo ensinar a língua portuguesa para os indígenas, e a exibição de um vídeo para crianças não-indígenas, feito pelos próprios Wajãpi, que mostra seu cotidiano, seus costumes e suas práticas culturais.
