A Associação Kaguateca, que representa coletivos indígenas do Mato Grosso do Sul, reivindica a órgãos de segurança estadual e federal ajuda para conter o alcoolismo na aldeia Jaguapiru. De acordo com a índia Marta Guarani, coordenadora da entidade, a maioria dos moradores da aleia é alcoólatra.
