Ismarth Araújo, presidente da Funai, prometeu ao cacique Xavante Arondi que até o final deste mês estará solucionado o problema de terras da reserva de Pimentel Barbosa. Houve um erro proposital na demarcação da reserva, que fez com que os indígenas perdessem 170 mil hectares de seu território. Depois de muito conflito, os fazendeiros que ocupam a região serão expropriados e indenizados pelas benfeitorias.
