A Funai vai tentar contatos, no segundo semestre, com o último grupo indígena de Goiás que ainda vive isolado, o Avá-Canoeiro. Em Mato Grosso, os Suruí, Cinta Larga, Gavião Parkatejê, Paresi, Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau e Nambikwara, que tiveram parte de suas terras afetadas pela construção da BR-364, serão beneficiados com hospitais, escolas, cantinas, transportes, remédios e implementos agrícolas.
