Os cerca de 500 índios Kaingang da reserva Barão de Antonina estão mantendo quatro sem-terra como reféns. Antigos posseiros da reserva tentaram libertá-los, e houve troca de tiros. Segundo os Kaingang, os reféns só serão libertados após a completa retirada dos posseiros de sua área.
