A Polícia Militar do Amazonas prendeu ontem o madeireiro Wilson Rodrigues de Assis e seus funcionários Francisco Franco Moçambique, Antônio Brabo e Leotero Acreano, acusados pela morte do índio José Kanamari, 20 anos, na tribo Kanamari. O crime aconteceu em Benjamin Constant, no Alto Solimões, mesmo município onde em 1987 foram mortos 14 índios ticunas, também por madeireiros.
