A morte de uma das mais velhas índias do Rio Grande do Sul fez renascer uma tradição não praticada pelas tribos Kaingang há mais de 67 anos. O ritual de enterro de Florinda da Silva, a Ricrê, reuniu mais de 500 Kaingang das reservas de Iraí e Nonoai, para inaugurar o cemitério da nova área, demarcada em 1993.
