A Polícia Federal começou a investigar ontem o assassinato do índio caingangue Gean Amantino Pedroso, em Nonoai, a 339 km da capital gaúcha. O corpo do índio foi encontrado com a face desfigurada em um matagal ao lado de uma reserva, que é alvo de disputa entre índios e brancos.
